Look, you can Froth Milk at home without professional espresso machine

Frothed milk means aerated milk

When drinking barista made Latte we always ask why the homemade Coffee with milk doesn’t taste so good. 100% you have noticed how baristas work with milk and coffee, this is magic. High quality Latte is the cocktail of professionally frothed milk, high quality coffee and professionalism of coffee master.
So giving you the understanding of what is this “Frothed milk”, I should mention the air first of all. Air bubbles is something that helps milk become thicker, adds creamy mouthfeel to the milk. So basically frothed milk is made by aerating ordinary milk.

Here are few ways how to aerate milk at home easily:

1-Use a French Press! Yes, simple French press helps not only with making coffee, but this frothing milk as well. Al you need is just to pour milk in the French Press and then pump the holder until foamy bubbles form. It takes around 30 second of quick short plunges.

2-Second idea is to use a whisk. This method will take a little longer and bubbles will not look that big as when frothing milk with French Press. But still as an option whisk the milk to vigorously whisk it until foamy bubbles form and get your frothed milk ready.

3-You can buy special Frothing wand, electrical tool to aerate milk. It costs around 5 pounds and it does it’s job perfectly.

Hope you found this useful and soon will have great homemade latte.
