Find your inner Londoner over a cup of coffee

Whole Bean & Ground Coffee – What is up to me?

Which coffee to choose is a very hard decision for all the coffee beginners. So we have prepared 5 key points to help you choose:

1.Convenience Here the plus obviously goes to Ground Coffee. The ground coffee is the quickest way to prepare good coffee drink. As the hard part has already been done and coffee comes as a beautiful ground mass, all is needed is to pour the coffee in a cup or coffee preparing stuff and add water.
2.Freshness First of all please note, that all coffee is roasted while the beans are still whole. Fresh coffee is considered as a whole bean within 2 weeks of the roast date. And as the Whole Bean Coffee is grounded just few minutes before brewing, the taste is more complex and fresh compared to ground coffee.
3.Price The coffee price usually is more or less the same for ground and whole bean coffee. But the whole Bean requires one time purchase of coffee grinder or the special espresso machine. This is investment worth trying for the coffee lovers.
4.Self-Barista Professionalism When you get ground coffee you drink it as is. But when go with the whole bean one, you become a first level barista and can surprise your friends with coffee brewing methods. And of course you will be the one to choose the grind size basing on the brewing method, so the coffee aroma and taste will open best. 5.EXPIRATION Whole bean coffee beans are long lasting when stored correctly. To preserve your beans’ fresh roasted flavour as long as possible, store them in an opaque, air-tight container at room temperature. Avoid clear canisters which will allow light to compromise the taste of your coffee. Ground coffee spoil faster as there are small parts of coffee beans.
But you can always try both – ground and whole bean to try and compare yourself. Enjoy L’DON coffee with every sip!
